Supermarket Manager

Oversee daily supermarket operations and supervise staff.

Ensure excellent customer service and handle complaints.

Monitor inventory, place orders and manage restocking.

Maintain store cleanliness, safety and compliance with company standards.

Prepare sales reports and analyse performance.

Implement promotions and maintain attractive product displays.

Train and motivate staff to achieve performance targets.

Ensure proper cash handling and financial controls.

Coordinate with suppliers and monitor deliveries.

Minimum of OND, HND or BSc in a related field.

2–5 years of experience in supermarket management.

Experience in fast-paced retail operations is an advantage.

Knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, sales reporting, merchandising and supplier management.

Understanding of budgeting, cost control, stock reconciliation and safety standards.

Strong leadership, communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.

Good time management, attention to detail and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
